Jessica first entered my life in 2005, and thank goodness she did! As my oldest friend from Emerson College, she has brought me an amazing friendship filled with boundless creativity and laughter. We’ve stood on top of the Eiffel Tower together, pulled all-nighters, lived in a castle, explored Amsterdam, adapted to two new cities, obsessed over a certain cafe’s chocolate chip cookies, dressed for countless theme parties…the list is honestly endless. This girl knows me incredibly well. She’s been there throughout great times and not-so-great times, and I’m thrilled that nearly seven (seven?!) years later she’s still one of my closest friends.
Jess and I had an idea for a photo shoot awhile back, and needless to say, things did not go as planned! We were forced to change our shoot four times before deciding on this at the very last minute. Rebecca saved the day by lending us her adorable bike and joining us on the adventure! Even though nothing went as we expected, the three of us had SO MUCH FUN together that we didn’t even care. Here are some of my favorite photos from our spontaneous shoot:
This is to give you an idea of the scale of Jess’ audience – she had just a bit of attention 😉
Jess, thank you so much for being such a positive, artistic influence. You were one of my very first guinea pigs when I picked up a real camera, and I’m so happy that we’re still having these photo shoot adventures years later! Much love!
P.S. Yes, I had to make a reference to The New Girl…of course!
