Style Spotlight // Caitlin & Caitlin

Meet the incredibly talented interior design duo, Caitlin & Caitlin! These two met in school at FIDM, where fate/extremely similar last names brought them together. They have an awesome sense of style, not to mention that they’re super fun and sweet! They share this amazing knack for making their designs simultaneously unique and creative, and yet totally practical. I love having the opportunity to work with them whenever I possibly can! Here are a few more pics than usual for a style spotlight, because I just couldn’t resist. Caitlin McCarthy is on the left in the photo below, Caitlin Murray on the right!
Quick outfit change! Because we can!

Caitlin McCarthy:
What are you wearing?
(First look) TopShop iridescent scuba dress, Forever21 sling backs with black ribbon spontaneously fastened at the ankle, vintage gold watch belonging to my grandaddy, jewelry (rings) by GramercyEight and Kate Spade Saturday
(Second look) black Acne jeans, green lucite Miista booties, polka dot blouse, Club Monaco cantaloupe leather motorcycle jacket

How would you describe your style?
Tailored whimsy with an unexpected edge.

What are some things you love?
Traveling like a local, seeing the sun rise, long vespa rides, throwing parties, painting on canvas, using the latest technology, being a girl boss, being kind.

Caitlin Murray:
What are you wearing?
(First look) Whimsical lip print peplum pants from Nasty Gal, a semi-sheer open back top from Urban Outfitters and red patent leather stiletto pumps
(Second look) Distressed denim shorts, a tie dye neon coral halter top, flannel button down and open-toed leather boots by Kelsi Dagger

How would you describe your style?
I suppose I would say classic meets current. I’m a big fan of basics, but I like to wear things that are unexpected and off beat, yet on trend.

What are some things you love?
Building our business, brunching, bike riding, spa days, holidays, enchiladas, cocktail parties, cats, making things pretty

Thanks Caitlin & Caitlin! P.S. How cool is that Kim West mural? Love finding her work all over Los Angeles!
