Life // Our Paris Anniversary Session

Happy Valentine’s Day!! I first developed a love for this holiday thanks to my mom, Trudi, who always did something extra special to celebrate and show her love for my brother and I. Since it’s pouring rain here in Los Angeles today, I’m going to time-travel back to a sunny morning in Paris with Mike. We did a photo session in the Marais district days before our first anniversary, and I cherish these pictures so very much. Katie Mitchell Photography was a true delight to work with – she was so fun and cheerful, and I felt like we made a lovely new friend! I’m also obsessed with her color processing!

This first photo is, quite possibly, my favorite photo ever of Mike and I. We spotted this vintage Vespa and Katie asked the owner if we could use it for a photo. He was very kind and made my dreams come true! We kicked off the morning at the Jardin du Luxembourg and then stopped at Cafe Judy for a latte and outfit change. Might I add that I started this session with zero coffee because nothing was open yet (ah, PARIS), which was quite the feat for this caffeine-addict! After Cafe Judy we wandered around the Marais district and finished up the morning at the National Archives. Mike and I had so much fun on this session, and I’m already dreaming of our next trip to the city of love!

Thank you again to Katie for documenting these gorgeous memories, and especially, thank you to Mike for being such a willing participant. You’re always down for an adventure and you go through life with the biggest smile. I’m very lucky to have you as my partner!
