Life // Happy Birthday Lauren!

Do you know what today is? If you guessed my sister-in-law's birthday, you're correct!! It's not just any birthday though - Lauren turns the big 3-0 today! Hooray!! Lauren is an immensely kind-hearted person. She cares so much about the well-being of others and has dedicated herself to teaching children with special needs. She also has a stellar sense of humor. Life // A Cozy Autumn Weekend in DC

I had the immense pleasure of traveling to Washington, DC for a long weekend in our nation's capital. I had an engagement shoot with an awesome couple and a lovely portrait session, but in between I had a chance to visit with my dear friends, Liz & Christopher. I returned late last night to LA feeling very lucky that my life is blessed with wonderful loved ones and these great opportunities. Here are some snapshots from a cozy morning in autumn.

Engaged // Kristin & Christopher // Echo Park Los Angeles

Kristin and Christopher (or "Sauce" as he is affectionately known) are awesome. I got really excited to shoot their engagement session from Kristin's very first email - she is hilarious, and we share a lot of similar interests. I also loved that they chose locations that are special to them as a couple - their local diner, neighborhood, and park. Here are some of my favorites from their fun session!
