Kim and Josh went to the same college in Boston, but didn't meet until they were put in a carpool on a group trip to the beach in California. Isn't it funny how life works? They hit it off, and the rest is history! They wanted to document a couple of locations that have held special meaning in their relationship, which I always love! We started off at the walkway in Santa Monica - they often met here on their lunch breaks when they first started dating. Too cute!
Manica and Britton are such fun. They met in college at James Madison University and happen to be the mutual friends I mentioned who introduced Katie and Jason! I had the pleasure of shooting their engagement photos while I was in Virginia for the weekend. These two are serious adventurers. They vaguely knew of an abandoned fire house on top of a hillside a couple of hours outside of Washington, DC, and they were determined to find it. After several phone calls, Google mapping, and driving on a hunch, somehow they did. This setting, overlooking the Blue Ridge Mountains of the Shenandoah Valley, was breathtaking. I was blown away.
