Style My Bridal

I am SO excited to share this shoot with you all! Style My Bridal was founded by sisters (all of whom have experienced the intensity of wedding planning) who want to give busy brides a break. They do head-to-toe bridal party styling and allow you to bring a customized bridal salon experience right to your home!

How does it work exactly? Tell Style My Bridal about your big day using their online questionnaire. Pay a $75 styling fee, and your styling team will handpick three head-to-toe looks for your bridal party. You can host a try-on party at your home with your bridesmaids and pick your faves! When you purchase the final look that $75 styling fee will be put toward your order. Style My Bridal will send the dresses and jewelry to you with ample time before your big day!

Life // Happy Birthday Mike!

This time last year I was back on the east coast for a couple of months and missed celebrating my boyfriend, Mike's, birthday in person. I'm SO glad that's not the case this year!! Mike has this indescribable color for life that is truly contagious. He makes everything fun, whether it's a trip to Las Vegas or simply to Target. He has big dreams and an even bigger heart, and I'm constantly blown away by his determination and amazing energy. I gush a lot about him here too, but what can I say, and I'm just so happy he's in my life!

Mike is also a super talented musician! He and our awesome friend Nikki have been hard at work writing beautiful folk-Americana harmonies as The Crow & The Canary - be sure to check out their videos here, or come out and see them on Friday, September 19th at the Room 5 Lounge at 8:00pm! End shameless plug. For now.

Mike recently commented how I never posted any photos from our adventure up to the Antelope Valley poppy fields this past spring, so I figured I'd share a few now! This place was gorgeous but SO WINDY and bright! Hair = immediate disaster. My favorite photo from this day (and maybe ever) was shot in the middle of the road with a self timer and tripod - and although the poppies aren't even it in, this was a perfect moment.
