Mark Vashro is one of those people whose spirit and enthusiasm is instantly contagious. I first met him back in Boston, but we never had a full blown conversation until he attended one of our Monday night True Blood screenings in LA. Mark had just finished biking across the country, beginning in Massachusetts and ending in California. He filmed his trip every step of the way – the people he met, the places he visited – and I was so blown away by his passion for his journey and the documentary, I just had to photograph him!
