Today’s Floral Friday is made in dedication to the amazing, intimate Milk Carton Kids concert that Mike and I attended last night at the Largo‘s Little Room. If you don’t know them, The Milk Carton Kids are sort of like a modern day Simon & Garfunkel. Joey and Kenneth create beautiful acoustic tunes with incredible close harmonies, which is basically my favorite kind of music. It was so special being just a few feet away while they performed their songs, including a number of new tracks. There were 65 people tops in the room (including their parents)! The Milk Carton Kids also have a hilarious, dry sense of humor, which works in great balance with their quiet, introspective performance. This week has been crazy on a number of levels, but I’m going to cherish this show.
